Partials and Complete Dentures

Get a new denture or repair and reline your full or partial dentures. A denture (or “plate”) is an appliance that is inserted in the mouth to replace natural teeth and provide support for the cheek and lips.

Types of dentures

  • Conventional denture – this type of complete denture is made after all the teeth have been extracted and the gums have healed.
  • Immediate denture – this is a complete denture that is fabricated and inserted immediately after the teeth have been extracted. The tissues or gums are allowed to heal under the denture.
  • Partial denture – this is a partial plate that is used to replace some missing teeth. Natural teeth and the tissues are used to support the denture.
  • Implant supported denture – as the name implies, this type of denture is supported by dental implants. The implants have attachments that help to secure the denture, when there isn’t enough tissue support.
